The Russian Women's Volleyball Super League, is the highest professional women's volleyball league in Russia. It is organized and administered by the Russian Volleyball Federation.
History
The dissolution of the Soviet Union in late 1991 brought an end to all sports leagues played in the Soviet Union, including the Soviet Women's Volleyball Championship. The national league was created by the Russian Volleyball Federation as a continuation of the Soviet Championships. The 1991–92 inaugural season had the participation of clubs based in the Russian Commonwealth and Yugoslavia. From the second season onwards only clubs based in Russia were allowed to compete.[]

**Rusland - Super League - Dames**
De Russische Super League voor dames is de hoogste professionele volleybalcompetitie voor dames in Rusland. De competitie werd opgericht in 1991 en wordt sindsdien gespeeld tussen de beste volleybalclubs van het land.
De Super League bestaat momenteel uit 12 teams die tijdens het reguliere seizoen een dubbele ronde-robin spelen. De beste acht teams plaatsen zich voor de play-offs, die worden gespeeld volgens een best-of-five formaat.
De Super League is een van de meest competitieve volleybalcompetities ter wereld en heeft vele Olympische medaillewinnaars en wereldkampioenen voortgebracht. Sommige van de meest succesvolle clubs in de geschiedenis van de Super League zijn Dinamo Moskou, Uralochka-NTMK Ekaterinburg en Lokomotiv Kaliningrad.
De huidige kampioenen van de Super League zijn Dinamo Moskou, die hun 12e titel veroverden in het seizoen 2022-23.
