De Ligue 1 Mauritania is de hoogste voetbaldivisie in Mauritanië. Sinds 1976 wordt de competitie zelfstandig georganiseerd. De veertiendeelnemende clubs spelen een complete competitie om te bepalen wie zich landskampioen mag noemen.

Mauritanië - 1e divisie

De Mauritaanse Première Division, ook bekend als Championnat National, is de hoogste professionele voetbalcompetitie in Mauritanië. De competitie wordt sinds 1976 georganiseerd door de Fedération de Football de la République Islamique de Mauritanie (FFRIM).

Het toernooi wordt gespeeld door veertien clubs. Elk team speelt in totaal 26 wedstrijden (twee keer tegen elke andere club). De kampioen plaatst zich voor de CAF Champions League, de tweede plaatst zich voor de CAF Confederation Cup en de laatste twee clubs degraderen naar de tweede divisie.

FC Nouadhibou is de meest succesvolle club in de geschiedenis van de Première Division, met tien landstitels. De huidige kampioen is ASC SNIM, dat in 2022 zijn vierde landstitel behaalde.
