**Roemenië - Beker**

De Roemeense beker is een basketbalcompetitie voor mannen in Roemenië. Het toernooi wordt georganiseerd door de Roemeense Basketballfederatie.

De eerste editie van de Roemeense beker werd gehouden in 1953. CSM Bucureşti is recordhouder met de meeste titels (17). De huidige titelhouder is ACS Sepsi-SIC Sfântu Gheorghe.

**Formaat**

Het toernooi wordt gespeeld in een knock-outformaat, met een finale over één wedstrijd. De halve finales en finale worden gespeeld in een neutrale locatie, zoals de Sala Polivalentă din Cluj-Napoca of de Sala Transilvania din Sibiu.

**Kwalificatie**

Alle teams uit de Divizia A, de hoogste basketbalcompetitie van Roemenië, zijn automatisch gekwalificeerd voor de Roemeense beker.

**Prijzenpot**

De winnaar van de Roemeense beker ontvangt een trofee en een geldprijs. Het prijzengeld wordt bepaald door de Roemeense Basketballfederatie.

**Belang**

De Roemeense beker is een van de belangrijkste basketbalcompetities in het land. Het toernooi biedt een kans voor teams om een trofee te winnen en zich te kwalificeren voor internationale competities, zoals de FIBA Europe Cup.
