Wikipedia - 2021 Q School

The 2021 Q School was a series of three snooker tournaments held at the start of the 2021–22 snooker season. An event for amateur players, it served as a qualification event for a place on the professional World Snooker Tour for the following two seasons. The events took place in May and June 2021 at the Ponds Forge International Sports Centre in Sheffield, England with a total 14 players qualifying via the three tournaments and the Order of Merit.

Q School-evenement 1 2021, een reeks van vier snookertoernooien die worden gehouden in Sheffield, Engeland, om de 12 leeggekomen plaatsen op de World Snooker Tour voor het seizoen 2021/22 toe te kennen.

Het eerste evenement wordt gehouden van 1 tot 6 februari 2021 en kent acht kwalificanten voor de finale op basis van de WPBSA Order of Merit. De overige 128 deelnemers zullen strijden om de overige vier plaatsen via vier kwalificatieronden.

De winnaars van elk evenement zullen direct kwalificeren voor de World Snooker Tour, terwijl de hoogst gerangschikte verliezer van elk evenement zal strijden om twee extra kwalificatieplaatsen via een play-off.
