WRU Challenge Cup

De WRU Challenge Cup is een rugby union-toernooi voor semiprofessionele teams uit Wales, zoals de Principality Premiership en de Championship. Het toernooi werd voor het eerst gehouden in het seizoen 2019-2020 en wordt georganiseerd door de Welsh Rugby Union (WRU).

Het toernooi wordt gespeeld in een knock-outformat, met wedstrijden die worden gespeeld over twee ronden. De winnaar van het toernooi kwalificeert zich voor de European Rugby Challenge Cup, het tweede niveau van Europese clubrugby.

De WRU Challenge Cup is een belangrijk onderdeel van het Welsh rugby union-landschap en biedt clubs de kans om te strijden om een prijs en zich te kwalificeren voor Europees rugby.
