Goytre Association Football Club is a football club is based in the village of Penperlleni, Monmouthshire in South Wales. The team play in the Ardal Leagues South East, in the third tier of the Welsh football pyramid.
They play at their Plough Road ground which opened in the mid-1990s. The clubhouse has recently been extended to accommodate a function room and further expansion is planned to include a second playing surface and training ground.
Goytre FC is een voetbalclub uit Wales, die uitkomt in de Welsh Premier League. De club is opgericht in 1897 en speelt zijn thuiswedstrijden in Port Talbot. De traditionele kleuren van Goytre FC zijn zwart en wit.
De club heeft in zijn geschiedenis nog nooit een grote prijs gewonnen, maar bereikte wel enkele keren de finale van de Welsh Cup. In 1980 verloor Goytre FC met 1-0 van Newport County, en in 2009 met 2-1 van Bangor City.
In de afgelopen jaren heeft Goytre FC zich gevestigd als een stabiele middenmoter in de Welsh Premier League. De club is erin geslaagd om enkele talentvolle spelers te contracteren, waaronder de voormalige Wales-international Craig Davies.
Goytre FC staat bekend om zijn passievolle fans, die de club altijd luidruchtig steunen. De club heeft een hechte band met de lokale gemeenschap en speelt een belangrijke rol in het sociale leven van Port Talbot.
