OFK Žarkovo (Serbian Cyrillic: ОФК Жарково) is a football club based in Žarkovo, Belgrade, Serbia. They compete in the Belgrade Zone League, the fourth tier of the national league system.

History

Old club crest

In 2010, the club won first place in the Belgrade Zone League and took promotion to the Serbian League Belgrade. They spent eight seasons in the third tier, before finishing as champions in 2018 and earning promotion to the Serbian First League. In the 2016–17 Serbian Cup, the club defeated Metalac Gornji Milanovac on penalties in the opening round. They were subsequently eliminated by Partizan, losing 2–0. After spending four seasons in the second tier of Serbian football, the club withdrew from the league due to financial problems in June 2022.

**Voetbalclub Zarkovo**

FK Zarkovo is een voetbalclub uit de Servische stad Belgrado. De club werd opgericht in 1955 en speelt haar thuiswedstrijden in het FK Zarkovo Stadion.

**Geschiedenis**

FK Zarkovo werd opgericht als onderdeel van het Zarkovo-sportcomplex, dat ook faciliteiten voor andere sporten zoals basketbal, handbal en tennis omvat. De club begon in de lagere divisies van het Servische voetbalsysteem te spelen en werkte zich geleidelijk op naar de hoogste klasse, de SuperLiga.

**Huidige squad**

Het huidige team van FK Zarkovo bestaat uit een mix van ervaren spelers en veelbelovende jongeren. Enkele opvallende spelers zijn:

* Nenad Tomović (verdediger)
* Nemanja Arsenijević (middenvelder)
* Uroš Sinđelić (aanvaller)

**Prestaties**

FK Zarkovo heeft nog geen grote trofeeën gewonnen, maar heeft wel goede resultaten behaald in de Servische beker. De club bereikte de finale in 2010 en 2015, maar verloor beide keren.

**Toekomst**

FK Zarkovo hoopt in de komende jaren een vaste waarde te worden in de Servische SuperLiga. De club heeft een sterke jeugdopleiding en hoopt in de toekomst talentvolle spelers voort te brengen.
