Amerikaans basketbalteam "Kent State"

Het basketbalteam van de Kent State University (ook bekend als de Golden Flashes) is een Division I-team dat uitkomt in de Mid-American Conference (MAC). Het team speelt zijn thuiswedstrijden in de Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center in Kent, Ohio.

De Golden Flashes zijn een van de meest succesvolle MAC-teams aller tijden, met 22 reguliere seizoenstitels, 13 MAC Tournament-titels en 14 NCAA Tournament-optredens. Ze zijn het enige MAC-team dat de NCAA Tournament Elite Eight heeft bereikt, wat ze in 2002 deden.

Enkele van de meest opvallende spelers van Kent State zijn:
